In accordance with the official plan from Polygon, the MATIC token will undergo a significant upgrade and will be migrated to the new POL token. This upgrade is essential as it enhances the capabilities and performance of the Polygon network, ensuring better scalability and security for all users.

Key Changes
Automatic Upgrade for Depositors on Ethereum & Polygon Networks:
• If you deposit MATIC on the Ethereum network, your MATIC tokens will automatically be upgraded to the new POL tokens on the Ethereum network. If you deposit MATIC on Polygon PoS, your MATIC tokens will automatically be upgraded to the new POL tokens on the Polygon Network. There is no need for any manual intervention on your part—this process will be handled entirely by Shuffle.com.
Suspension of MATIC Deposits and Withdrawals:
• ERC20 Mainnet: MATIC withdrawals on the ERC20 Mainnet will be suspended at 7:30 am UTC on September 4th, 2024. Following this suspension, MATIC transactions on the ERC20 Mainnet will no longer be available.
POL Token Support:
• ERC20 Mainnet Deposits: POL deposits and withdrawals on the ERC20 Mainnet will begin once the network upgrade is complete
• Polygon PoS Deposits: POL deposits on the Polygon PoS network will be open once the network upgrade is complete.
• Polygon PoS Withdrawals: The schedule for POL withdrawals on the Polygon PoS network will be updated once the network upgrade is complete.
The network upgrade to POL is expected to be completed by 12:00 UTC.
Important Notes
• Seamless Transition: Users holding MATIC on Shuffle.com do not need to worry about manual conversions. Our platform will automatically convert MATIC to POL for deposits made on the Ethereum network, ensuring your funds are upgraded without any hassle.
