How to Play

To begin, choose the value of the chips you want to place. Then you can place chips on the Player hand, the Banker hand, or a Tie. Two cards are then dealt to both the Player and the Banker.

Card Values

Aces are worth 1, cards 2–9 are worth their face value, and 10s and face cards (Jack, Queen, King) are worth 0.

The Total

If the sum of the cards is 10 or higher, the first digit is dropped and only the second digit counts. For example, a 7 and an 8 total 15, which counts as 5.

The Result

The hand closest to 9 wins. In certain scenarios, a third card may be automatically dealt to either side based on standard rules to determine the final outcome.

Player Rules

  • If the player receives a natural 8 or 9, it is an immediate win and no further cards are drawn.

  • The player’s hand stands on totals of 6 or 7.

  • On totals from 0 to 5, the player draws a third card (unless the banker has a natural 8 or 9).

Banker Rules

When the banker’s first two cards total:

  • 0, 1, 2 – Banker draws in all instances unless the player has a natural 8 or 9.

  • 3 – Banker draws if the player’s third card is 0–7 or 9. Banker stands if the player’s third card is 8.

  • 4 – Banker draws if the player’s third card is 2–7. Banker stands if the player’s third card is 0, 1, 8, or 9.

  • 5 – Banker draws if the player’s third card is 4–7. Banker stands if the player’s third card is 0–3 or 8–9.

  • 6 – Banker draws if the player’s third card is 6 or 7. Banker stands if the player’s third card is 0–5 or 8–9.

  • 7 – Banker stands.

  • 8–9 – Neither hand draws a third card.

While you do not need to memorise all of the banker rules, they can be useful to reference during gameplay.

Side Bets Explained

  • Player Pair / Banker Pair (11:1)
Wins if the first two cards dealt to the Player or Banker form a pair (same rank, e.g. two Kings).

  • Either Pair (5:1)
Wins if either the Player or Banker is dealt a pair in their first two cards.

  • Perfect Pair (25:1)
Wins if the first two cards are an identical pair (same rank and same suit).

  • Player Bonus / Banker Bonus (1–30:1)
Pays based on the winning margin of the Player or Banker hand. Higher payouts are awarded for larger winning differences or specific outcomes such as naturals. The exact payout varies depending on the result.

Side bets are optional and typically carry a higher house edge compared to the main Player, Banker, and Tie bets.

Provably Fair

Like all Shuffle Originals, Baccarat is provably fair. Outcomes are generated using a commitment scheme and cryptographic hashing (SHA-256), ensuring each result is random, verifiable, and cannot be manipulated.

The game also features instant betting and customisable auto-bet strategies, designed for a seamless, high-speed experience.
